We’re looking for Volunteers to help in a disaster

Samaritans supports the state Disaster Recovery efforts when we are impacted in our region. Following the recent disasters around the state we are looking for new volunteers to be on standby should we need to activate our teams again.

Samaritans Disaster Recovery service offers:

  • Assistance in caring for individuals and communities affected by major emergencies
  • Training to heighten the understanding of emergency management and disaster recovery

Local groups of trained volunteers, like Samaritans Disaster Recovery Teams, play a vital role in delivering practical care and assistance to those affected by disasters.

Join us for a free information session and training on Saturday February 29, 2020, 9:00am – 3:30pm at Taree Parish Memorial Hall to find out more. Details in the flyer below.
