Fun adventures for SIL participants

It’s been a fun few months for participants at a number of our Supported Independent Living (SIL) sites.

John’s exciting train trip

John, from Morisset SIL, was joined by a support worker as they stopped to get an iced coffee and went on a train trip.

John enjoyed himself and said he would like to go on the train more.

He even discussed the possibility of a holiday where he would take the train across Australia.

Showtime at the circus

Two people we support, also from Morisset SIL, had an incredible experience during the Stardust Circus at Morisset Showground.

They experienced comedy, fun music and incredible talents that made them laugh, dance and sing.

The participants also purchased showbags with goodies, and engaged in dancing and singing with staff.

What a fun outing!

Singing along in Wyong

A trio of participants from our Redgum and Orion SILs enjoyed a 'One Night In Memphis' show at The Art House in Wyong.

Chris, Andrew and Dimce sang along to some old classics and are looking forward to going to another show soon.

Thank you to our staff member Ricki for organising this event for the men and making it a night to remember!
