Transdisciplinary Early Childhood Intervention

NDIA refer to this as a Transdisciplinary Early Childhood Interventions package. This package is available for children in Newcastle and Lake Macquarie.

Transdisciplinary support involves a team of professionals working together to deliver tailored early intervention to children and their families.

Samaritans will be your Primary Service Provider and will act as your main point of contact.  A Samaritans case manager will coordinate a Transdisciplinary team of professionals for your family. The case manager will manage communications with the team and mould their support together to suit your routine. The team will provide support in your home and in your community as required.

Samaritans employs a team of professionals including:

  • Speech Pathologists
  • Psychologists
  • Occupational Therapists
  • Physiotherapists
  • Educators
  • Social Workers
  • Early Intervention Case Managers

Transdisciplinary early childhood support simplifies the relationship between you and your specialist team. Samaritans will ensure you receive coordinated advice, involve you in all decisions and enable you to best manage your time.
