We can help with

At headspace Maitland we provide a range of programs, services and support for young people aged 12 - 25 for things that might be affecting your health and wellbeing.

Mental health: If you are feeling down or wanting to talk to someone, our mental health workers including psychologists, counsellors and psychiatrists are here to help. 
Sexual health: Come along to one of our sexual health screenings or let us link you to local services that can help. 
Youth reference group: Want to get involved in event planning or some decision making at the centre? Ask about our youth reference group. 
Doctor (GP): Connect with one of our GPs to discuss physical health issues, sexual health, relationship problems, drug or alcohol abuse plus much more. 
Alcohol & drug services: Need advice on alcohol or drug issues? The team at headspace Maitland are experienced and ready to help today.
Youth programs: We have a range of activities and programs for young people. Ask our friendly staff what we have on this month.
Work & study services: Need assistance with work and study opportunities? We can provide advice and connect you to services today.

Book a Community Education Session

headspace Maitland offers community education sessions about headspace, mental health as well as drug and alcohol issues that affect young people 12-25. These sessions are offered to community groups, schools, service providers and clinical services. If you would like to organise a session for your group, fill out the request form below.

headspace Maitland is operated by Samaritans Foundation. All headspace services are funded by the Australian Government Department of Health and Aged Care. Administration of funding is carried out by the headspace centre’s local Primary Health Network, in this case, Hunter New England and Central Coast (HNECC LTD).
