Kaiyu Konnect, previously known as Kaiyu Enterprises, provides mental health services in Newcastle.
Kaiyu (pronounced Kie-You) is a word from the Awabakal language “to have power and ability“.
Our programs develop opportunities and support within Newcastle, Lake Macquarie and the Hunter to assist people living with with a mental illness or psychiatric disability to have satisfying and valued lives as full members of the community.
I've been to many support groups, but never any as good as Kaiyu!
Kaiyu provides an environment where you can be supported to achieve your goals in life.
Kaiyu Konnect offers programs that provide social and skill development activities with a focus on social inclusion, such as:
- Kaiyu Konnect (KK)
- Konnect Early Intervention Program (KKEIP)
- Kaiyu Community Based Activities (CBA).
Who we assist
Kaiyu Konnect can assist people who:
- Are over 18 years of age
- Have a history of mental illness.
Referrals can be made by:
- Community agencies
- Service providers
