Financial counselling is a free and confidential service offered by Samaritans. Our financial counsellors are skilled professionals who will listen to your problems and help you with things like bills or fines you are struggling to pay, being harassed by debt collectors, being evicted from your house, tax debts and gas, electricity or phone disconnection.

Samaritans Financial Counselors can assist people who are having trouble paying bills or finding it hard to manage money.

- Bills or fines you are struggling to pay
- Being chased for outstanding payments
- About to get property repossessed
- Behind in rent or house payments

Gambling Counselling
We are a specialised counselling service that provides free and confidential help and support for gamblers and those close to them.
Who we assist
People with gambling problems and the people close to them in the Hunter Valley and Mid North Coast.
Services
Gambling Counselling can involve individual personal counselling, relationship counselling, family counselling and counselling for grief and loss.

Psychosocial Support
Samaritans Psychosocial Support Service helps people living with a severe mental illness to build their life skills and work toward achieving their recovery goals.
Who we assist
People who have severe mental illness on the Mid North Coast who do not receive support through NDIS or NPS.

Our trained facilitators help you identify your goals and support you in accessing local services to reconnect with education, health, vocation and social networks.
