Our Emergency Relief service provides assistance to people in financial crisis by helping them deal with their immediate situation in a way that maintains dignity and encourages self-reliance.
We do this by providing short term emergency, financial or material assistance. Where possible we link people to other appropriate services and support.

How we can help
Samaritans can help if you need assistance. We may be able to help with:
- Food vouchers and food parcels
- EAPA vouchers (electricity and gas)
- Telstra vouchers
- Chemist assistance
- Clothing and Financial options support.
We have nine centres located at Broadmeadow, Toronto, Morisset, Cessnock, East Maitland, Taree, Gorokan, Wyoming and Rutherford.
Who we assist
