Christmas is a wonderfully busy time for Samaritans. Newcastle’s largest Christmas celebration has been annually hosted by Samaritans for the past 17 years. Each year guests enjoy music, games, lunch and a visit from Santa!
Samaritans also hosts Christmas lunch in Singleton and Wyong.

Samaritans ARAFMI Mental Health Wellness Walk
With one in three people experiencing mental illness during their lives, it’s important for the community to unite to share the journey of support.
The Mental Health Wellness Walk aims to unite the Newcastle community by raising awareness of, and destigmatizing, mental health, and encouraging everyone, whether they have experienced mental illness or not, to recognise the importance of looking after our mental health and wellbeing.

The Twilight Fair kicks off the festive season with a Christmas market, selling beautiful artworks from people we support at Samaritans.
