The Bateau Bay Supported Independent Living (SIL) team has been thanked for its ongoing dedication during a special lunch.
The team took out the 'Stand Up, Shout Out' award for the month of January.
‘Stand Up, Shout Out’ is a Samaritans-led initiative that acknowledges the positive contribution Samaritans Disability Services staff make in the lives of clients and people they support across all services.
February’s award went to Carolyn Wilson for her patience with a Person We Support and ability to reduce hospital visits significantly.
The March award went to Gezahegn Girma for his selfless attitude in switching or extending shifts and for being a valuable team member.
