The Green Light Appeal is your way to change the lives of young people in the Hunter region.
The Green Light Appeal funds Samaritans Student Accommodation, the only service of its kind in the Hunter, providing safe, independent housing for young people aged 16-24 who are experiencing or at risk of homelessness.
By supporting this appeal, you are helping ‘green light’ the future of many incredible young people who are working toward their educational goals.
This vital program offers safe accommodation, along with dedicated support as they complete their education or vocation.
Samaritans Student Accommodation doesn’t receive any government funding. Since its launch in 2012, the program has been entirely funded through our generous community.
“This place has allowed me to find more of me... to understand the parts of me that weren’t heeded a long time ago,” Thea said. “Support us so the people who desperately need it don’t slip through the cracks.”
