Volunteer Celebration

Samaritans values the dedication and expertise of its many volunteers. Without the thousands of hours of time so generously donated by over 400 men and women, Samaritans would find it difficult, if not impossible to offer some key services such as Emergency Relief. Other services would be limited in their capacity to add value to clients lives - outings to church or other activities, mentoring services, or just friendship.

Each year in recognition of the valued contribution that Samaritans Volunteers make to Samaritans and the wider community the Samaritans host a Volunteer Thank You Luncheon.
