Accommodation Services
Samaritans has 21 residences where people with disability receive care and support. All accommodation services offer individual service planning, support the development of living skills, provide advocacy and assistance to people with disability so that they can develop their skills to respond to life’s challenges and opportunities.
Who Can Use These Services?
People with a disability are referred to these services through the Department of Ageing, Disability and Home Care usually via the Hunter Region Supported Accommodation Placement Panel of which Samaritans is a member.
Where Are the Accommodation Services?
These residences are located in suburban and rural communities throughout the Newcastle, Hunter, Manning and Central Coast regions.
