Parents looking for support and tips on dealing with their adolescent children can attend a free course coming up  at the end of October.

The program runs in three parts, the first on October 22 and will be hosted at the Samaritans Information and Neighbourhood Centre in Vincent St in Cessnock.

Samaritans' Adolescent Family Counsellor, Sue Jakes, will coordinate the program that is designed to equip parents with strategies that may help them in particular situations.
