There were smiles all around, not just in the artworks, as friends and family, staff and clients joined together to officially open the inaugural Art from the Heart exhibition. “Art from the Heart” is a unique partnership between three leading organisations offering services to those with a disability in the Hunter.

Samaritans has almost exhausted all it’s allocation of food, grocery vouchers and electricity vouchers across the eleven Emergency Relief Centers, with an unprecedented number of people in our community finding themselves in crisis.

There is some great news coming out of the Cottage on the Central Coast. The Department of housing are working with Community Artist, Margrete Erling and the young people and staff at the Cottage drop in centre on a community art project for the local area surrounding the service.
