Samaritans Foundation is one of Australia’s largest regional social welfare organisations. With 530 employees and over 600 volunteers, Samaritans cares for local people in need, touching many thousands of lives each year.
Samaritans provides a range of services for family and children, youth, those with living with a disability or mental health, and the community.
Supported by the strength of the Anglican Diocese of Newcastle, Samaritans is focused on building connections in the community – between clients and services, clients and families, clients and the community, between services and through establishing effective partnerships.
Samaritans is based in the Hunter, Manning and Central Coast Regions and delivers more than 122 welfare and community service programs in over 100 locations, to more than 60,000 people each year.
