Early Intervention and Activities (EIA)
The service offers support to young people and their families aged between 12-18 years and is delivered by way of specialised programs, individual casework and activities and skill development groups. This is a free service and is offered to schools, other organisations and the community.
How do I get involved?
Schools
If you are interested in exploring some ideas and available programs for your school or simply gaining more information, please contact the local head welfare officer or school psychologists.
Young people
The Samaritans EIA team accepts referral from young people and their families, community members, schools and other services where a young person and their family meet the early intervention criteria.
Referral intake and information can be made through Samaritans YOUTH DIRECT on 1800 17 1800
Youth Groups
All young people aged between 12-18 are welcome to attend youth groups.
