Samaritans' Reconciliation Commitment
Reconciliation Committee
The Committee was formed as a part of Samaritans contributing to the development of a future based on mutual respect, mutual resolve and mutual responsibility.The Committee is currently working towards developing a Samaritans Reconciliation Action Plan, pulling together resources on Aboriginal nations that are local to each service and generally encouraging Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander recognition in Samaritans.

Reconciliation Action Plan
Samaritans has registered their intent to create a Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) with Reconciliation Australia. After conducting a planning day in late 2011, we are hoping to have our RAP developed by the middle of 2012. Stay tuned for further details.
