Samaritans Five Star Family Day Care provides quality childcare in the Cessnock, Dungog and Singleton Local Government Areas. We have carers in a varitey of locations throughout this region, including Jerry's Plains, Gresford, Dungog, Greta, Branxton, Bellbird, Cessnock, Kurri Kurri, Stanford Merthyr, Pelaw Main and Weston. There will be a carer who lives not far from you.
Registered carers provide quality childcare in their family environment. Caring for small groups of children they can provide individual attention for your child. Carers are able to form the bonds required for early brain development of young children.

TRAINING CALENDAR
Training is available to all carers. Families and other interested parties who would like to attend training should contact the Coordination Unit on Cessnock 49907402 or Singleton 65723810 to check for availability of positions in each session.
2011 Training Calendar FDC
NEW CARER TRAINING
New Carer Training is designed to provide an introduction to the requirements of becoming a Family Day Carer.
Training is held over 5 days and covers topics such as programming and planning, care environments, child protection and business management. Resources are provided for each topic covered. Recognition of prior learning can be applied for on a case by case basis.
The calender for 2011 will be posted here soon.
