Samaritans offers a range of services to people with a disability and their families, including:
Accommodation - all referrals need to be made through Agency, Disability and Home Care. ph 49786222
ASSET - Adult Skills, Support, Education Services and Training – is designed to assist young people with disabilities identify their goals and plan for their future after leaving school. Staff assist clients to access and utilise the local services available to them by providing guidance and advice. the programme delivers personal and social development skills, including literacy and numeracy, recreation, independent living skills and vocational training.
Supported Independence Programme (SIP) – is designed to support people towards independent living though flexible accommodation models and the provision of services taylored to individual needs and drop in support for people in their own home, respite care and vocational social and recreational services.
Support Co-ordination - Support for older parent carers of a person with a disability.
Respite - Overnight respite available in purpose built facilities designed to meet the diverse needs of adults with a disability living on the Central Coast. Beautiful grounds and access to community facilities.
